This new collaboration enables us to offer industry-leading products backed up by Aurora’s renowned innovation and Crystalised’s reputation for the highest standards of service and value. Working with Aurora Multimedia enables us to take advantage of the growing trend towards AV over IP technology deployments in both 1Gbps and 10Gbps networks. Aurora is a world leader in HDBaseT technology which brings a rich feature set, increased reach, and better performance than existing solutions. Also available will be the Aurora range of 10Gbps POE enabled versions for Fibre and Copper based high performance networks. HDBaseT is the global standard for the transmission of ultra-high-definition video & audio, Ethernet, controls, USB and up to 100W of power over a single, long-distance, cable. For audio-visual, consumer electronics, and even industrial PCs, this can be a simple category cable (Cat6 or above), for up to 100m/328ft. For medical and government applications, optical fibre is usually preferred, spanning several kilometres. For automotive, HDBaseT can be transmitted over a single unshielded twisted pair (UTP), for up to 15m/50ft, or any other commonly used media (such as STP, HSD, coaxial and fibre). Aurora Multimedia recently introduced the world’s first HDBaseT product capable of extending 100 metres 4K60 4:4:4 with unshielded CAT5e or better cabling.
