The OceanStor VTL6000 is a virtual tape library product designed for mid-range and high-end data backup markets. Designed to improve backup and recovery operations, the VTL6000 is an integrated solution that combines high performance, superb availability, and large capacity with the innovative features of global deduplication, disk spin-down, active/active VTL engines, and clustered SIR engines. It is widely deployed in scenarios such as large backup centers, tiered storage, and distributed backup.

High Performance & Large Capacity
- Up to 9 TB/hr concurrent backup independent of de-duplication
- Scalable up to 192 SATA disks of 2 TB (384 TB total raw capacity), meeting the large capacity backup requirement
- Intelligent disk spin-down technology that automatically spins down idle disks, greatly driving down system power consumption
Globally De-duplication
- Multi to single-point remote replication with globally de-duplication across sites, sharply reducing the requirement for backup space
- Post de-duplication remote replication, cutting the data amount to be transferred and the requirement of bandwidth consumption
High Availability
- Active-active mode of VTL engines and N+1 cluster mode of SIR engines with failover to ensure service continuity
- Redundancy design of key components, such as the controller, power supply, and fan
- Virtual tape encryption under the 256-bit AES algorithm, ensuring data integrity during data transfer
Easy OAM
- Zero-risk deployment - existing backup software and backup policy are retainable
- GUI and CLI management
