The 2002 Series contains solutions for 4Gb Fibre Channel, 1Gb iSCSI, 3Gb SAS, and JBODs.

With Dot Hill’s AssuredSAN 2002 you have the assurance that you can store, instantly back up, and instantly restore your data.  With built-in snapshots and volume copies, they make disaster recovery simple and immediate. 

These data protection solution comes fully licensed with AssuredSnap™ and AssuredCopy™ data protection software. With up to 256 snapshots capability, they offer important protection for business critical applications such as email, databases, and file sharing. AssuredSnap instantly takes volume snapshots, creating point-in-time backups that can be used to instantly restore your data after a system failure. In addition, you get AssuredCopy, which protects against disk failures. 

The 2002 features a 24-drive array housing 2.5-inch drives or a 12-drive array of 3.5-inch drives. Users can easily expand the system by adding JBOD enclosures as data needs grow. These storage systems are ideal primary storage for all your important applications and are certfied for use with Microsoft, VMware, and Red Hat.

    The 2002 Series uses patented SimulCache™ technology that instantly and simultaneously mirrors cache between RAID controllers, leading to signifcant performance improvements over traditional implementations. The use of RAID cache batteries has been completely eliminated with the introduction of super capacitors, providing infinite cache backup during a power loss while being environmentally friendly.

    Storage Made Easy

    Arrays in the 2002 Series are easy to configure and manage with the RAID 2.0 Web Based Interface (WBI) which provides storage setup and monitoring without the need for host based software.
